About Quincy Johnson

I am a mental health therapist with a passion for helping individuals and couples discover balance, fulfillment, and joy in their lives.  Outside of my work, I enjoy staying active by playing basketball and bowling, cooking on the grill, and winding down with a good documentary—no matter the subject. Family is at the heart of who I am; I have been proudly married for many years and have of two children. My personal and professional experiences fuel my commitment to supporting others in finding meaning, happiness, and a healthier outlook on life.

My Values

Confidentiality

Your privacy is very important to me. I want you to feel safe and comfortable sharing openly in our sessions, knowing that what you say stays between us. Confidentiality is a core part of the therapeutic relationship, and I take it very seriously.

There are only a few rare situations where I may be required by law to share information—such as concerns about safety or instances of abuse. Outside of these circumstances, everything we discuss remains private.

My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard, respected, and understood.

Compassion

I believe that healing begins with compassion. Life can feel overwhelming at times, and my role as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive space where you are met with understanding rather than judgment. Compassion means seeing you as a whole person—not just your struggles—and walking alongside you as you work toward growth and healing.

I approach every client with patience, empathy, and respect, knowing that each person’s journey is unique. My goal is to create an environment where you feel truly heard and cared for, so together we can focus on building the tools and confidence you need to move forward.

Acceptance

I believe that meaningful change starts with acceptance. In therapy, this means creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without fear of judgment or criticism. Acceptance doesn’t mean settling for where you are, but rather acknowledging your experiences, feelings, and challenges as valid parts of your journey.

When we begin with acceptance, we open the door to growth and healing. My role is to walk alongside you with openness and respect, helping you build self-compassion and recognize your strengths. Together, we’ll work toward creating a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling.
